JOIN US TO SING MOZART'S REQUIEM

We would like to extend a welcome to all interested singers to join us in our performance of Mozart's Requiem, which will be the final work in our concert programme on 8 May 2011.  We will be accompanied by a professional orchestra playing period instruments and will also be joined by 4 professional soloists.  This would be an extra special experience if we could bring together a larger number of voices than usual and we would be very pleased if we could enlist your support.

As the choir, like all others, has an artistic and financial investment in the quality of the performance we would ask that your commitment would be as follows:

·      A contribution of £20 by way of short-term subscription

·      A commitment to sell at least two tickets

·      A commitment to attend at least 6 rehearsals out of 8 which will be solely devoted to preparation for the Requiem

·      Attendance at final orchestral rehearsal on afternoon of performance
